SMART PRODUCTION FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
About us
FACT Industries OÜ, established in 2017 in Estonia, brought together an ensemble of experienced scientists and engineers to provide customized research & development assignments for industries. The focus was on improving materials, analyzing products, and developing resource-efficient technologies utilizing additive manufacturing. Our small yet expanding team is now engaged with several projects worldwide, partnered with industry-leading businesses. It delivers robust and reliable output from materials design and characterization to small-scale production lines.
ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

Additive manufacturing or 3D printing is intended to be used for building visual and functional prototypes or small and medium series - and increasingly for series production. Various metal, metal-ceramic and ceramic composite and plastic parts can be manufactured by this technology. At FACT Industries we use Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Melting (SLM) and Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technologies to prototype and prepare functional parts.

CNC MACHINING

CNC technique is a process of milling and subtracting bulk material until it takes the shape that is necessary. CNC is the opposite of 3D printing, which adds material together until it takes the designed shape. Both technologies are precise. However, depending on the design of the part and the scale of production, CNC or 3D printing technologies can be recommended. At FACT Industries we manufacture metal alloys (Titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) using 5x CNC.

MODELLING

Before manufacturing part or simulating its properties, we require the 3D model of the part. Some partners prefer us to model the parts based on their sketches, requirements or just giving us the part they want to copy/repair. Our specialists use Solidworks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD to create the CAD of the parts. We have also 3D scanner which allows to get the CAD of a physically existed part within few minutes.

R&D

Research and Development activities is the strongest part of our team keeping the company updated and innovative. The team of FACT Industries has research background with decades of experience in material science and additive manufacturing. We are developing and characterizing new materials (raw materials) for additive manufacturing of functional parts, specialized on metal-ceramic or ceramic based composites.
